Be Impeccable with Your Word

So here’s a headline from a Canadian newspaper:

And I’m left to think;

“Well yeah, is there any other kind?”

Maybe knife wielding teenager works better in this case, cause describing a teenager as erratically behaving is redundant in the same way that describing a politician as a poor excuse for one is redundant. Well, duh, he’s a politician ergo a poor excuse.

This is a trivial quibble no doubt, but I’m suffering a minor blight of triviality at the moment, and the best way to deal with these moments is to nip it in the bud, which is the whole point of a weblog really. Exodus effectuated. Purge it before it festers into a mood.
