Plan59.com: The Museum (and Gift Shop) of Mid-Century Illustration. Great site. I studied the fifties in college, wrote my thesis on the Peekskill Riots and Post-World War II domestic anti-communism, so I’ve got a thing for America circa mid-century. Finding this site is like waking up after a night of debauchery and discovering you had sex with -insert your preferred smokin’ hot famous person here-. Okay, so maybe not quite that grand a discovery, but it does tickle me happy.
