Kurt Vonnegut Said It Best: 15 Quotes
Published September 27th, 2007
A link to fifteen quotes from Kurt Vonnegut and some commentary after each. My favorite is the first ““I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.” This is, of course, a call for awareness. There’s nothing quite as uplifting as when you take a moment to really let the feeling sink in that, you know what, I’m feeling pretty damn good right now. We tend to pave these moments over with conversation, or mental chatter, or a donut. It is a pity. A pity to neglect ourselves.
