So, an A-Team Movie
Looks like the A-Team will now get the big screen treatment with John Singleton slated to direct.
According to the film’s producer (and creator of the show) Stephen J. Cannell, The A-Team will be updated from its Vietnam era and will be less cartoony. Cannell told the The Latino Review, “Not to denigrate the TV show, but nobody ever died. We drove cars off cliffs and people got out and walked away. We’re not going to do that (in the movie). In this the tone is more dangerous–you can really die. It’s very tense and exciting.”
This is a mistake. I don’t need to watch a modern re-telling of the A-Team. I’ve seen Heat. Make the A-Team movie. Or don’t.1
